Working for Blue SkyWorking in a Blue Sky team  |  Other vacancies

The recruitment process for Blue Sky starts upon release from prison. Once with us, employment begins with on-the-job training for a one-month trial period. If successful, our people progress onto a longer contract, typically six-months in length.

Employees are mentored and led by supervisors who have faced the same challenges. They typically work in small teams of one supervisor to 4-5 team-members.

Blue Sky equips its employees with the necessary social and work skills to tackle this key transitional phase into employment. This is probably the key intervention to breaking the cycle of re-offending. (75% of ex-offenders have no job on release, yet employment can reduce the incidence of re-offending by up to 50% *)

Employees have the chance to leave Blue Sky with a clean employment record and a good reference.
