£18,000

Full Time
Denham, Uxbridge
1 year fixed-term contract

Blue Sky was set up to give paid grounds-maintenance and recycling work to people coming out of prison so that they can move successfully into long-term employment. Together, we help our employees move away from a life of crime, achieving long-term benefits for society. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the workings of our social enterprise from the ground-level up.

As a winner at the 2010 Charity Awards, England's Social Enterprise of the Year for 2011 and Social Action Partner for Number 10 Downing Street, our unique approach to reducing reoffending is attracting considerable attention. Home Secretary Theresa May recently visited a Blue Sky team, describing our work as "ingenious" and "fitting in exactly with what the government is trying to achieve". We have ambitious plans for the future and are looking for an outstanding graduate to play a key role in executing them.
